Policies for Our Vacation Rentals in Ocean Park, Maine
Check In/Out Policy:
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. We kindly request that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance with your estimated arrival time, either by phone or email, to help us best prepare for your stay. Please note that while we do not offer a 24-hour front desk, you will still be able to access your room anytime after 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival, however, we are unable to accommodate check-ins after 10:00 PM. If your travel plans change and your arrival will be after 5:00 pm, please give us a call so we can ensure someone will be able to assist you with your check-in. Thank you!
Check-out is any time before 10:00 AM.
Payment Policy:
To confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to one night’s lodging will be required when the reservation is made. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival. We accept Visa and MasterCard. However, if a deposit and balance are paid by check or cash, a 2% discount will be applied.
Cancellation Policy:
Should your plans change after your reservation has been confirmed and you notify us 30 days before your arrival, we shall cancel your reservation and be happy to apply your deposit, good for 12 months, to your next visit with us. If the cancellation is made with less than 30 days’ notice, we regret to note that the deposit will be forfeited and you will be responsible for the entire bill.
The BillowHouse Beachfront Boutique Inn Winter Weather Guarantee:
If, on the day you are to check in, the National Weather Service issues a warning of severe weather, and you call on the day of check-in and cancel your travel plans due to the weather conditions, we will be happy to hold your deposit for one year (12 months) to apply it to a future visit to BillowHouse Beachfront Boutique Inn.
Holiday Weekend Policy:
During holiday weekends, there is a three-day minimum stay requirement.
Pet Policy:
Although we appreciate how important pets are to families, pets are not allowed at BillowHouse Beachfront Boutique Inn. However, Keoke Kennels (family run (207-282-6574)) is located about 5 miles from BillowHouse Beachfront Boutique Inn.
Parking:
For those guests who have a seven-day reservation, one parking spot will be assigned to you upon arrival. For those guests who are here for less than seven days, a parking spot in our driveway is not guaranteed.
Smoking:
BillowHouse Beachfront Boutique Inn is a smoke-free environment: Smoking of tobacco or recreational marijuana is not allowed inside your unit or on any of the decks outside each unit.
Additional Information:
Grills: They are available to all guests starting late June until early October (weather permitting). Please sign-up to use one with our sign-up board outside the office.
Beach Gear: We continue to encourage guests to bring their own beach chairs and umbrellas. However, if you choose we will be happy to provide 1 umbrella per unit and beach chairs.
